Metal powder sintered filters are also called metal porous sintered filters. Metal powders of different particle sizes are isostatically pressed and then sintered in a high-temperature vacuum furnace. The molten metal particles form a porous structure with different pore sizes. This type of filter element is purely physical surface filtration. By controlling the connection method of the online backflush filter, a filter cake of a certain thickness can be formed on the inner and outer surfaces. After a series of cycles, the filter cake will form a certain thickness. When the pressure difference is high, the filter starts an automatic backwash or backflush process, and the filter plate bursts to achieve regeneration.
The advantages of this type of powder sintered filter element are very significant:
1. Can be regenerated online repeatedly without the need for offline cleaning;
2. The use cycle and lifespan are longer than ordinary PTFE, PP, and PE filter elements;
3. By selecting iron-based and nickel-based metal powders, different temperature resistance ranges can be achieved;
4. It has a certain degree of toughness and is more durable than ceramic filter elements in unstable systems;
5. Multiple connection and sealing methods are available, and disassembly is easy;
