Sintered Metal Membrane for Dust Removal System

The production of photovoltaics, batteries, and other electronic components requires micro‑ and nano‑scale metal powders, such as gold powder, silver powder, and copper powder. For example, photovoltaic silver paste is an indispensable core auxiliary material for solar cell modules, and its quality directly affects the performance of solar cells.
Photovoltaic silver paste is a formulated product. Its main raw materials include silver powder, resin binder phase, solvents, additives, glass frits, etc, which together form the formulation and are critical to preparing high‑quality paste. Among them, silver powder accounts for the highest proportion in silver paste, typically 80% to 90%. Therefore, silver powder is regarded as the most core material in silver paste.

The silver powder used in solar cell conductive silver paste is mainly spherical silver powder. Generally, spherical and near‑spherical silver powders are commonly synthesized by chemical methods, while flake silver powders are mainly prepared by mechanical ball milling.
Spherical silver powder has a relatively uniform particle size distribution, which can improve light absorption and photoelectric conversion efficiency of solar cells, and is widely used in solar cell manufacturing. Spherical silver powder is mainly produced by liquid‑phase reduction.

Ultra‑fine silver powder produced by liquid‑phase reduction tends to agglomerate easily during subsequent drying and transportation. Factories use jet milling to prevent agglomeration of ultra‑fine powder during pneumatic conveying and storage.
Grand Filtech designed ultra‑fine metal powder jet milling and material collection system consists of four parts: fluidized bed jet milling system, cyclone separator, metal membrane dust removal system, and induced draft fan.
The fluidized bed jet milling system is equipped with a material classification wheel. Silver powder that meets the required particle size is discharged from the fluidized bed air outlet, while silver powder larger than the required size returns to the fluidized bed for re‑grinding to ensure the subsequent silver powder particle size meets application requirements.

The filter element used in the metal membrane dust removal system is a metal short‑fiber sintered filter cartridge with high precision, ensuring that silver powder does not escape from the system. Moreover, this filter cartridge has large flux, good renderability, and long service life.
The metal membrane dust removal system is designed with an online back‑blowing function, which can perform back‑blowing while working to ensure continuous operation of the system.
Our company has applied for patents for various metal powder working conditions and accumulated extensive engineering experience in different types of projects.
